On May 22nd, Literary Arts and Ooligan Press will be hosting the Oregon Writers of Color Spring Showcase. Ooligan Press is a part of Portland State’s graduate program for Book Publishing. This event will feature many of Oregon’s most talented, diverse writers, and is designed to connect these artists with the publishers seeking to hear their voices.
Why are we telling you this?
That’s because our very own Copy Editor, Moxxy Rogers, was selected as one of this year’s winners with her submission of her poem Vincent! She will be reading her piece at the event and we’d love to see you there in support. The event will be emceed by Anis Mojgani.
You can attend the third installment of the Spring Showcase @7PM in the Literary Arts Space in Downtown Portland (925 SW Washington Street).
